No6 Colli Court is at the foot of Table Mountain, a few minutes drive from the Cableway, which is your quickest route to the top! You will be rewarded with stunning views of Cape Town and its surroundings, both as you enjoy your ride in the rotating cable car, and when you stand entranced on the viewing deck. Once you are at the top of the mountain, you can walk, shop or eat at the resturant. It is within walking distance from other scenic mountain walks of alternative aspects of Table Mountain. The world-famous Mount Nelson Hotel is 3 minutes drive from No6 Colli - why not spoil yourselves with afternoon Tea in this majestic setting? Kloof Street and Long Street are frequented by 'locals' and boast a wide range of resturants, delis and shops. (About 7 minutes away from the apartment). The Constantia wine Route is situated on the eastern slopes of Table mountain and was the first wine centre in the area. This includes the farms of groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Constantia Uitsig. Here you can visit wine centres and enjoy delectable food at a variety of resturants (indoors and outdoors). Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens are a must for any visitor to Cape Town (voted as MTN's top tourism site in the city). Enjoy a meal in the garden restaurant, or take your own picnic, which you can enjoy while having a rest during your meander around the extensive gardens. (There are over 5000 species of plants in the gardens.) The winter and outdoor summer concerts which take place at Kirstenbosch are very popular with Capetonians and tourists alike. |
